Adapted by Dwayne Harford from Kate DiCamillo鈥檚 beloved novel, The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane is more than a children鈥檚 story鈥攊t鈥檚 a profound exploration of love, loss, and emotional awakening, brought to life by an intimate ensemble of actors and musicians.
Edward, a porcelain rabbit once too vain to love, is cast adrift鈥攍iterally and figuratively鈥攐n a journey through the hands and hearts of strangers. Though he cannot move or speak, Edward becomes a silent witness to grief, resilience, and hope, ultimately discovering the courage to love again. The play鈥檚 emotional depth and minimalist storytelling offer a rare opportunity for audiences to reflect on empathy and transformation in a world that often rushes past both.
